Wrexham Mineral Cables are the UKs only manufacture of fire resistant mineral insulated cables utilising continuous Production technology. Specially designed equipment is housed in a 5,000 square metre purpose built factory located in Wrexham, North Wales.

Our success

Established in 1989 WMC's initial purpose was to supply UK wholesalers with fire resistant mineral insulted cables. In 2008 the decision was taken to start exploring overseas potential. In the last decade Wrexham have gained many approvals including KOC, KNPC, SEC, QP and Middle East Civil Defence Approval.

Projects include Rabigh II Independent Power Project (R2IPP) Saudi Arabia, 40" Gas Pipeline from BS 131 to LPG Plant Kuwait, Lower Fars Heavy Oil Development Kuwait, NTPC Tanda, Thermal Power Plant India and Manifold, Group Trunk line system FOR GCs -29, 30 & 31, Kuwait.
