In the event of fire, all business–critical cabling must continue to do the job it was designed to do regardless of how much the fire takes hold. Are you sure you can say that about the fire cable you currently have in use?

In the event of fire, your emergency infrastructure such as fire alarms and emergency lighting must continue to operate, to enable buildings to be evacuated safely and quickly. We now stock Firetec fire cable suitable for use in fire alarm systems, emergency lighting circuits, and BS 5839-8 voice alarm systems. Our range of standard & enhanced cables are all manufactured with copper conductors, full size CPC, and full compliance with BS 7629-1.

Both Firetec Standard and Firetec Enhanced cables include; plain copper wire with low smoke no halogen (LSNH) insulation, aluminium tape in contact with a tinned copper wire circuit protective conductor (CPC) and LSNH sheathing. Firetec Enhanced also includes a mica glass tape with LSNH insulation around the copper wire for extra protection. The Firetec range is available in 2, 3 or 4 core versions with 1.50mm2, 2.50mm2 or 4.00mm2 conductor sizes. In addition we also stock a range of clips, glands, and shrouds suitable for use with the Firetec fire cable range.
