Vigilant Technology, a BATM Company and provider of intelligent IP video surveillance and security solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of all Aplica Technologies’ physical and intellectual assets. Providing advanced solutions through cutting-edge technology, Aplica is at the forefront of embedded Video and Wireless application development.

Aplica's high-resolution DVI to Ethernet screen capture, as well as its mobile DVR technology will be implemented in Vigilant’s existing product line. This will enable Vigilant to penetrate new markets including the Defense and Medical industries.

As partners in the development of Vigilant’s own NetStream 5001 screen encoder, Vigilant has in-depth experience with Aplica’s unique capabilities and technologies. “The acquisition of Aplica and its technology, is a natural fit that will enable Vigilant to expand its own offering through the development of hardware products,” said Eran Dotan, Vigilant’s CEO, “We are committed to continuing Aplica’s legacy of excellence within Vigilant’s own product

Vigilant will be taking over Aplica’s activities and continue to provide existing clients with the highest levels of customer service. With Aplica’s headquarters and development center located in Israel, the transition is expected to be smooth and seamless, as Vigilant’s own international headquarters are also based there.
