Van Driver Toolkit – Toolbox Talks (FOC)
As
an addition to our award-winning Van Driver Toolkit, driver safety experts from
the National Highways Commercial Vehicle Incident Prevention team and Driving
for Better Business have created a series of eight short video toolbox talks.
Each
video features a full HD quality narrated animation of around 7-10 minutes
duration, including subtitles and a short quiz to test the drivers’
understanding and information retention. A PDF briefing note for facilitators
is also included.
Eight
have been completed so far with more to follow. Those released to date include:
- Fatigue - Driver distraction - Drivers hours - Vehicle roadworthiness - Safe loading - Speed limits - Safe towing - Severe weather
