SG stand-alone buried detectors provide seismic security solution for broad range of applications with minimal integration effort. The detectors include standard relay outputs (dry contact) for easy integration with any standard security alarm panel. The buried detectors operate with seismic sensors which recognize threats whenever vibrations are sensed in their vicinity. The detector identifies the intruder’s movements as soon as he enters the protected area, and provides an early warning before the intrusion actually occurs. The seismic detector is installed below ground, cannot be detected nor sabotaged and does not change the area’s appearance. Equipped with adaptive algorithms optimized to minimize false alarms rate (FAR) and maximize probability of detection (PD, the system acts a worry-free early detection system to secure and protect: The detector is able to recognize a range of threats above and below ground, such as: Footsteps, moving vehicles, digging activities.
