Scorpion, our functional test solution for hard-to-access detectors, has been confirmed as a finalist in this year's PSI Premier Awards.
Our nomination, made by Zenn Engineering, sees us join 6 other manufacturers in the 'Fire Product of the Year' category with voting now open and winners being announced at Awards Dinner on 2nd July.
Zenn Engineering nominated Scorpion after installing the system at a private hospital in Manchester. Like a lot of hospital sites, this prestigious one in Manchester contains lift shafts where smoke detectors are installed. The challenge of testing these detectors without taking the lift out of service was over-come with the installation of Scorpion - you can read more about the installation and the benefit it has delivered at www.scorpion-tester.com
