Release of the all new Scan-360 IP radar

The popular low cost 360 deg perimeter radar designed and assembled by Ogier Electronics has had an upgrade, an all new web page based IP interface together with ONVIF camera connectivity.The alarm functionality has also been improved and the Scan-360 now has network alarm options which are integrated into all leading VMS platforms, such as Milestone, Synectics and I-Comply.
Scan-360 is a low cost, ground surveillance radar for perimeter security, with an operational range to detect humans and vehicles up to 200 metres, and to automatically operate a CCTV Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) camera to point at the intruder.
The flagship Scan-360 radar surveillance system, now with its IP interface costs little more than a standard PTZ camera and brings advanced ground surveillance radar technology to the consumer market.
The 'Scan-Sector' and 'Scan-Beam' products also feature advanced radar and signal processing technology derived from the flagship Scan-360 radar.
Our products are designed and built in the UK by Ogier Electronics, a highly regarded electronics engineering company with over 20 years experience in the security industry.
OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW
On detection of a target, the Scan-360 radar remotely operates a PTZ CCTV camera to slew to point at the target whilst at the same time alerting the operator. Scan-360 radar then tracks the target until such time as the operator takes control of the camera or until the threat has passed, thereby recording the intrusion for later analysis. Radar data may also be sent to third-party systems to trigger cause/effect actions.
Equally at home in a wide range of environmental conditions, Scan-360 has been designed for use over multiple terrains, offering advanced warning of intruders for perimeter security and infrastructure protection.
The scan-360 surveillance radar system uses advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms in conjunction with sophisticated microwave circuitry to give exceptional performance.
