PolCam demonstrates 32 lane vehicle police camera

The PolCam System is a machine vision systems integrator which features a stationary speed camera that can monitor up to 32 cars simultaneously for speed, bus lane and red light traffic violations across multiple lanes of traffic and varying distances.

The system uses 3D image analysis, in addition to radar, to determine speed, distance, license plate, vehicle colour and brand. Images are captured using Sony’s FCB-EH6300 camera, or a machine vision GigE camera, delivering megapixel images at 12 frames per second.
