In line with IFSECs new location, Paxton, the market leader of electronic IP access control and door entry equipment, highlighted its own expansion and interactive approach with its largest stand to date; Paxton offered daily hands-on training taster sessions, presentations and competitions.
Another year, another IFSEC. The newly relocated show achieved a fresh, international feel complete with a plethora of big names and industry insight in abundance.
In line with IFSECs new location, Paxton, the market leader of electronic IP access control and door entry equipment, highlighted its own expansion and interactive approach with its largest stand to date; Paxton offered daily hands-on training taster sessions, presentations and competitions.
Each day visitors to the stand were encouraged to take on Adam Stroud, CEO of Paxton in the Net2 Entry Speed Trials. The competition provided the opportunity to experience the simplicity of Paxton products first hand, by timing how fast entrants could put a Net2 Entry system together in a bid to win a PlayStation 4.
The three winners were Simon Collins, SILIS Security Solutions, with a time of 1min 48sec, Dan Turner, Advance Security, 1min 21sec, and Euan Brown, Alternative Systems Protection, 1min 35sec.
Speaking about his win, Euan Brown said, “It’s an excellent system, very easy to install and use. The stand at IFSEC looks superb and it’s awesome to win the Net2 Entry competition! It was an easy win, a small child could put Net2 Entry together - I just happen to be a big child!”
Adam Stroud, Chief Executive of the Paxton Group, spoke of the serious message behind the competition, “In order to make the Net2 system simple, we use quite a lot of advanced technology, such as IPV6 and PoE. It can be a challenge, so we’ve enjoyed having some fun with it at IFSEC. The fact that you can go from boxed product to working system in such short amount of time is phenomenal, and proves we are doing more than marketing when we say our products are simple to use.”
Daily hands-on training taster sessions showcased the company’s free training and installer focussed workshops. They gave an insight into access control and the features a Paxton system offers, including high security, ease of management and increased building efficiency. Further introductory presentations included Access Control: Top Tips.
Various information points were located around the stand with Paxton’s international team of industry experts available to offer advice to visitors, including installers and end users.
Pete Danks of Vaults Fire and Security said, “Paxton products are superb, the stand at IFSEC also looks very nice this year. I have worked with Paxton for over ten years and I am very happy with the service.”
Adam Stroud spoke of Paxton’s attendance at IFSEC, “We’ve been really pleased with the attendance and the response has been good. We have always liked IFSEC and were quite anxious about the effects of the relocation, however on day one last year we recorded 140 leads, and on the first day this year we recorded 190, so we’re up. We’re pleased to say the event has been a success for us.”
