Kings is delighted to have received numerous national awards at last week’s Annual British Security Industry Association (BSIA) Luncheon
Highlighting the outstanding contribution of our staff, Ian Hewitt, Security Officer for Yorkshire Water was awarded the Security Personnel Award for Best Newcomer whilst the team at Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (KNH) were awarded Best Team. Ben Reddington was voted runner-up in the Apprentice Installer Awards.
The annual Security Personnel Awards acknowledge the commendable and limitless contributions that security personnel make to the industry – and the wider community – each and every day.
The annual Apprentice Installer Awards serve to recognise the achievements of both Level Two and Level Three apprentices involved in the installation of alarms, CCTV and access control (or a combination of these systems).
As a company who values its staff, we are delighted that several of our employees have been singled out and commended for their work.
Ian has shown tremendous versatility during his time at Kings. Starting out as a second-line ATM engineer, he recently retrained to join the security division. Displaying an impressive level of effort and fortitude in his new career, Ian has been commended by numerous compliment letters from Yorkshire Water staff where he is a Security Officer.
Ben, who was named runner up in the Apprentice Installer Awards, is in the third year of his apprenticeship with us. A true example to everyone, Ben’s consistently positive attitude and hardworking approach has seen him fast become a trusted and much liked employee. He has also become a respected role model for year one apprentices who he now mentors.
Finally, congratulations to the team at Kirklees Housing Association (KNH) who have amassed many accolades for their unrelenting dedication to the community in which they work. The team of nine support this disadvantaged community, dealing with daily challenges with a genuine sense of responsibility and care, and often go above and beyond the call of duty in their roles.
Our congratulations to both individuals and the team at KNH for all their hard work and effort over the year.
