Lisburn, Northern Ireland – Locally owned Microsense Solutions today announced that it has changed
its name to Sensurity. The company
which is a spin out from Queens University in Belfast specialises in
Intelligent Security systems. The company produces the Halo Microwave Sensor
which is sold globally into the Perimeter Intrusion Detection (PIDS) market.

of Sensurity says “We wanted a new name for the company that more accurately
reflected that we are delivering high end Microwave Sensors for the Security Industry.
By combining the words Sensor and Security we created the name Sensurity and
were pleased to obtain all web domains for this name”
The company is
also pleased to announce that it has recently secured £1M of investment from
existing and new shareholders. This will provide funds during this period of
growth for research and development into new products and sales and marketing
on the Halo product line.

that we have secured some sizeable investments from new shareholders. They are
all excited about the growth plans we have for the company in the coming years
and see the huge potential for the company products in the Security
