Kentec Electronics Ltd, the UK and Europe’s leading manufacturer of fire alarm control panels, launched their range of conventional and extinguishant panels to the Australian market at the recent Fire Australia 2011 in Adelaide.

The Kentec range, launched in Australia by distributor Incite Fire, includes the most comprehensive range of conventional fire detection and extinguishant control panels available. Their Sigma CP range of conventional control panels, listed and approved in Australia exclusively with the Hochiki detectors, is available with two, four or eight detection zones as standard or available in popular cost-saving 'two wire' versions, in which detectors, call points and sounders are wired to the same pair of cables.

Also launched were Kentec’s Sigma XT+ multi area extinguishant releasing panel range which combines the extensive configuration options of Sigma CP's 2, 4 and 8 zone conventional control panels with highly configurable extinguishing control modules and data bus connection of the recently introduced “Warning Signs” to complete the system.

The new Kentec range of Australian Standards approved fire alarm control panels will be available exclusively through Australian distributor Incite Fire who will supply and support the Kentec range through their established industry network that combines strong technical support skills and extensive working knowledge of industry standards.
