Korenix has successfully provided a wireless solution to a flood monitoring case with its JetWave 2310 series Industrial Cellular Router/Gateway.

With the progress of technology, people nowadays are able to monitor on the nature and try to prevent the disasters from causing too much loss, protect human safety and preserve the completeness of social/personal properties.

Before, the analog detect devices were applied in the monitor process, which turned out to be ineffective. Therefore, IP Camera with water line recorder, centralized management and automatic alarms which requires cellular gateways for transmission has risen to replace the analog ones.

Korenix JetWave 2310 series Industrial Cellular Router/Gateway stands out in the market by its slim size for flexible deployment, extraordinary performance on cellular communication, and easy remote management by using Korenix Mobile Manager. It supports dual SIM standby for carrier provider redundant, which can assure seamless and stable transmission. Furthermore, the next generation Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology supports up to 100Mbps DL and 50Mbps UL high speed bandwidth, allows large data transmission under a short period of time.

In the flood monitoring case, the JetWave 2310 is placed in the field site, connecting to IP camera and the sensor which detects the water lines. At the meanwhile, transmit the data collected to the control center securely through VPN.
