We are proud to announce that Kings Security is backing Leeds based charity, Community Action to Change Harehills (CATCH), in its aim to create a community and youth provision for the Harehills community to reduce anti-social behaviour within the area.
We are supplying CATCH’s new community building, named “The Hub” with
a state of the art intruder alarm system, worth over £3,300, to ensure
that it is kept safe and secure.
CATCH co-founder and Prevent Officer for West Yorkshire Police, Asad
Razzaq, said: “We’re so delighted to have the support of Kings Security.
Their contribution will go a long way in helping us to establish a
fantastic new facility that will be a safe and secure hub for the
community, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
The Hub was previously situated at Hovingham Primary School, but is
currently in the midst of a £50,000 relocation to a new site thanks to
the partnership work by CATCH, Leeds City Council and West Yorkshire
Police. CATCH do fantastic work within the Harehills community,
providing hope and guidance to young people within the area. We’re
delighted to be able to aid CATCH with its new centre and hope to
continue to work with them for future projects.
