Kings Security announced as regional winners for two BSIA Security Personnel Awards

27 Apr 2016

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced the winners of its Regional Security Personnel Awards 2016.

The Security Personnel Awards, which are now in their eighteenth year, serve to recognise the incredible achievements and long-term contributions made by professionals working within the UK’s private security industry.

Kings were honoured to learn that we were regional winners in two of the categories:

* Best Newcomer – Ian Hewitt – Yorkshire Water, Bradford
* Best Team – Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (KNH), Huddersfield

Earlier today, Trevor Elliott, Director of Manpower and Membership Services of the BSIA came to Kings HQ and presented the awards to our winners.  We have now been put forward to the national judging phase. The national winners will then be invited to receive their awards at the Association’s Annual Luncheon in London on 12th July.

Commenting on the awards, James Kelly, Chief Executive of the BSIA, said: “This year’s award winners represent the very best of the security industry and demonstrate how high the calibre of individuals employed in our industry is.”

Good luck to both Ian and the team at KNH!
