Kings donate security system following traumatic break-in

24 Apr 2016

Paris Mulholland, aged 11, won the nation’s hearts after she bravely confronted her burglars in an open letter, telling them that she no longer felt safe sleeping in her own bed after their intrusion, and theft of her Christmas and birthday presents.

The Kings Security team were so moved by Paris’ story that we reached out to her family and have installed a free security system, complete with maintenance and around-the-clock monitoring.

We hope that the new security measure will help to give Paris and her family complete peace of mind that they now have a professional security company protecting their home 24/7.

Speaking about the new security measures, Paris’s mum, Gemma Mulholland, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Kings Security has offered to do this for us.

“The police told us that it’s highly unlikely the criminals would return, but after someone enters your home without your consent, it’s impossible not to feel constantly on edge and anxious that it could happen again.

“It’s just such a big relief to know that we now have a security measure in place. Paris is so excited, as she knows that Kings are going to be monitoring us for future incidents. She feels so much safer now.”

Anthony King, CEO of Kings Security said: “When we read Paris’ story we knew right away that we wanted to get in touch.

“People don’t often consider the emotional impact that a home break-in can have, particularly for children, who see their home as the safest place that can be.

“We hope that Paris, Tom and Gemma are able to feel far more secure in the knowledge that we will be watching over them and I hope Paris gets lots of presents next year to make up for the ones the burglars took!”
