Ipsotek and Canon showcase innovation in facial recognition capture

21 Jun 2016

Ipsotek is a world leader in scenario-based video analytics and an expert across a wide range of applications in both the commercial and public sectors. With its patented scenario-based approach, Ipsotek allows multiple behaviour descriptions to be applied simultaneously or in predefined sequences. These scenario combinations create an exact description of the target behaviour, thereby giving dependable alerts and dramatically reducing false alarms.

Ipsotek and Canon at IFSEC

Ipsotek and Canon have partnered to deliver solutions to customers with a focus on four key industry sectors: government, critical national infrastructure, transport and finance. This involves a highly diverse range of applications, all using the same VISuite software package.

Ipsotek will show a combination of live video analytics and facial recognition technology with Ipsotek’s VISuite technology and the Canon VB-S30D. The demonstration will highlight how these technologies can be used in parallel to detect and report on face detection in real-time, which is made possible by the superior camera technology and lens quality offered by Canon.

There is also a range of videos demonstrating the power and flexibility of the full VISuite package to see how video analytics can benefit end-users.
