FAAST - Fire Alarm Aspiration Sensing Technology™ – is a new range of aspiration detection devices from Honeywell, offering the earliest and most accurate smoke detection in challenging environments. FAAST provides significantly increased levels of smoke sensitivity and false alarm immunity, along with reduced installation costs. This is achieved through the use of innovative new technologies including an aerospace designed wing filter and enhanced blue LED particulate analysis. The range is being specified in wide variety of EN54 class A, B and C applications for its ability to deliver advanced early warning, superior false alarm immunity, reduced maintenance costs and enhanced aesthetics. Applications include mission critical sites, hostile environments and buildings where aesthetics are paramount, maintenance is an issue or smoke stratification can occur.
