anti-corrosion network cameras. Their robust housing and the proven Dark
Fighter technology make the cameras ideal for use under unfavourable
conditions, e.g. on the coast or at sea.
Hikvision's
offers a wide range of network cameras specially designed for the most
challenging applications and conditions. The same applies to these four
new cameras; the two bullet cameras (DS-2CD6626B/E-HIRA/IR5 and
DS-2CD6626BS-(R), the dome camera (DS-2CD6626DS-IZ(H)S) and the PTZ
(DS-2DT6223-AELY) are very suitable for use in industrial environments,
on ships or on top of windmills.
The housing of the cameras has the following characteristics:
•ISO C5-M certified; suitable for industrial environments with a high air humidity and an aggressive atmosphere
•NEMA
4X certified; protected against rain, windblown dust, splashing water,
hose-directed water and external formation of ice on the enclosure
•Meets the IP67 standard; water and dust proof
•Made of 316L stainless steel.
The
cameras can not only withstand all types of weather; they also continue
to function optimally under the limited amounts of light often seen in
unfavourable conditions. The Dark Fighter technology allows the cameras
to produce a colour image in lighting conditions as low as 0,002 Lux. In
addition, all four cameras are Full HD, are equipped with 120 dB wide
dynamic range, and boast 128 GB of internal storage capacity.
The
cameras are available now. The range is expected to expand rapidly with
new solutions. All models can be found on the Hikvision website.

Hikvision’s position in the surveillance industry market is clear - it is the world’s leading supplier of video surveillance solutions. Up until last year, the company’s presence in Europe has been mainly using traditional distributor channels. This is now changing, with the company’s non-CCTV portfolio growing to include products to enhance security in other ways – from access control to intrusion detection.
Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, announces its new Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) solution, which offers vehicle recognition technology embedded into cameras. This gives users the ability to detect and recognise vehicles from their licence plates, capturing a range of information, including country registered, related image and speed information (with radar). This has a multitude of applications, including road traffic management and Entry/Exit management.
Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, has launched an innovative IP

The memorandum will pave the way for joint efforts in testing, inspection, verification and certification of Hikvision products. It will also see the two companies cooperating strategically in various areas, including: mutual technology exchange, training, information sharing and platform establishment.
Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative
video surveillance products and solutions, supplied digital video
monitoring technology solutions to the Museum for East Asian Art in
Cologne – thus paving the way for entry into the age of HD-TVI. The
museum previously had analogue cameras and an analogue recorder in
place. The image quality of the recordings was poor and rewinding and
fast-forwarding recordings turned out to be complicated. The museum was
looking for a more modern and flexible solution to circumvent these
difficulties. So a hybrid digital video recorder and a new hard disk
drive from Hikvision were installed, providing the museum with a more
cutting-edge video monitoring solution.
