Gilgen
Door Systems is to demonstrate a range of high security entrance solutions, including
the first SR5 rated security shutter with a certified ballistics rating, at
IFSEC International, London Excel, June 21-23rd
Designed to help protect facilities against
emerging threats such as hostile incursion and swarm attack, the Rolegard SR5-B
security shutter is tested to LPS1175, issue 7, level 5 and ballistics rated up
to FB4 standard, combining the highest physical attack standard achieved in a
security shutter with unrivalled ballistics and blast protection properties.
Roger Massey, Marketing Manager of Gilgen Door
Systems says “We are excited to have the Rolegard SR5-B available for IFSEC. The
unique design of SR5-B helps mitigate combined attack methods which is an
important advantage in today’s challenging security environment where
facilities need protection from a range of developing threats”.
To achieve its very high security rating the shutter was independently
tested against a wide range of professional attack methods including high end
power tools.
Gilgen will also demonstrate
an attack resistant automatic sliding door system designed to help protect
‘front of building’ pedestrian entrance ways. Gilgen SLX/RC3 was the first of
its kind to be accessed to conform to the security requirements of PAS 24:2012
standards. The reinforced doors offer a remarkably strong yet invitingly
transparent solution almost identical to a standard automatic door making them
ideal for a wide range of facilities including government buildings, banks,
jewelers and high value commercial premises.
Visitors to the Gilgen stand, G1975, can gain advice on a comprehensive
range of powered doors systems designed to secure the entire building envelope.
