Four nominations for Panasonic at Security Fire & Excellence 2016

27 Sep 2016

Panasonic security products have received four nominations at the 2016 Security & Fire Excellence Awards, held in London.

Run by the organisers of key industry exhibitions IFSEC and FIREX International, the awards will take place at the London Hilton Park Lane Hotel on Wednesday 23 November 2016.

Panasonic’s VL-SWD501 wireless video intercom system has been nominated for Access Control Product of the Year. The company’s flagship video intercom product offers users the ability to greet visitors from anywhere in the premises thanks to DECT technology.

The company has had further success for CCTV Camera Equipment of the Year, with three nominations. The first is for the newly introduced Aero PTZ camera (WV-SUD638), Panasonic’s highly ruggedised network camera with a sleek fibreglass body alongside a built-in wiper.

The company’s 1080p Bullet Camera and Secure Communication technology have also been nominated for the award. The technology has been developed alongside an industry leader in security certification, and protects video evidence from tampering, deletion or unauthorised access with three distinct components.

“We’re pleased that Panasonic Security Solutions are being recognized for the incredibly innovative products that they are, and we’re glad that the security and fire sector’s key awards are taking notice.” said Karen Sangha, Field Marketing Manager for Security Solutions.
