New type of ekey fingerprint reader: Finger scanner with integrated Bluetooth reader for access control and system administration.

During IFSEC 2013 ekey is revealing the new ekey finger scanner IN 2.0 Bluetooth to the general public. This state-of-the-art solution combines the advantages of a biometric reader with Bluetooth functionality.

A new App (available for Android and iPhone) will offer two main functions:

System administration: The user management is moved from the control panel to your smart phone. Adding and removing fingerprints or setting up the system for operation has never been easier. A separate code can be defined to secure the App from making unauthorized changes.

Door control: Your smart phone will turn into a key, since the finger scanner will recognize your cell via its electronic signature. Open your front door or arm/disarm your alarm system directly via the ekey App. Of course the Bluetooth data exchange is encrypted. Alternatively, swipe your finger across the scanner to be granted access.

The dimensions of the ekey finger scanner IN 2.0 Bluetooth are identical to the well-established integra line of products. From a design point of view, the reader will be available with different design elements in stainless steel, white or gold.
