When you think about the private investigations industry, is it the cloak and dagger figure in the long tan coat and wide brimmed hat? Or a highly trained, professional company? There are no requirements for investigators. You can still be unlicensed, sub-contract your investigations without vetting, not have professional indemnity insurance and operate with a criminal record outside of the ABI.
