Assa Abloy enhance integration of access control system

The integrated ASSA ABLOY Device Protocol allows effeff Escape Route Terminal 1383 to be easily incorporated into any access control system. Control Terminal 1383 and its matching wall reader are linked to access control systems via a RS485 port.

The ASSA ABLOY Device Protocol is used to provide communication, meaning that electric escape route securing systems can be monitored and controlled directly from the access control system. This type of data communication ensures that there is no need for otherwise complex and limited integration using additional switching contacts.
