The solution has been applied to a variety of human and computer vision applications including but not limited to surveillance cameras, smartphones, and barcode scanning devices. It has been especially acclaimed by surveillance camera manufacturers since it could solve traditional problems of the industry including failure in detecting intruders due to low visibility or failure in detecting abnormal events caused by poor performance of the embedded CV system in low-light environment. In a case study with a client developing camera modules for an intelligent traffic management system who experienced a technical problem with detecting vehicles at night, our Neural ISP solution achieved 3.1x improvement in vehicle detection accuracy during night time.
