As can be imagined, boarding schools present very difficult security challenges. Suprema teamed up with Thorn Security to modernize the entire Access Control system of Stonyhurst College’s nearly 500-year-old campus. Whereas the school was previously burning through up to 100 lost plastic RFID cards per week, students and staff can now freely come and go through more than 50 doors using convenient Mobile Access and Facial Recognition. With Suprema products, Stonyhurst College is able to keep close tabs on everybody — a crucial task for a boarding school.
