Canon Europe, world leader in imaging solutions, has been accredited by Mirasys Ltd. as a new Platinum Partner.
The partner scheme recognises security surveillance product and technology vendors whose solutions can be successfully integrated globally with Mirasys video management solution (VMS). Mirasys awarded Platinum Partner status to Canon after recognising the high-image quality and unique capabilities, such as colour accuracy, enhanced low light performance, and Smart Shade control, of its full range of network cameras.
The partnership will bring a strong security surveillance proposition to both system integrators and customers; combining Canons high-quality hardware and Mirasyss professional video management solution for the first time. The partnership will also see both companies proactively sharing information to facilitate future planning and support, and provide the tools and technical support needed for successful integration.
System integrators and Canon partners will also receive multiple benefits including access to technical information such as testing and demo licenses, solution roadmaps and go-to-market resources, including brochures, step-up charts and partner branding.
Our software supports Canons cameras perfectly and hence tight co-operation will not only benefit both of us but also our joint customers, says Jukka Riivari, CEO of Mirasys.
Mirasys wants to be the preferred partner for anyone who wants to use Canon cameras with outstanding Video Management System for professional use, which is why we are delighted to welcome Canon as a Platinum Partner.
It is important for Canon to work closely with VMS providers to make sure that the overall proposition being offered to customers is second to none, says Julian Rutland, Product Strategy and Planning Director, Network Security Cameras. By collaborating with Mirasys on mutual product development and training our teams to work with each others technology, we are able to provide unparalleled quality and reliability to a multitude of key regions. This is beneficial to both Canon and Mirasys, but ultimately it is great news for our customers.
The Mirasys VMS is now fully compatible with Canons current VB-H and VB-M series, and drivers will be available shortly for the new S-series that will go on sale early in the new year.
Canon uses its 70 years experience as a high quality lens manufacturer to develop network cameras which deliver exceptional image quality and capture best in class images in all light conditions. Canons range of network security cameras are simple to install and are supported by an extensive 3 year Swap Warranty program. Mirasys will also provide guidelines and assistance on defining lightweight testing procedures, to ensure that any potential issues with the integration will be captured early.
