Notifying Fire Marshals at the School of Life Sciences
The School of Life Sciences (SLS), part of Dundee University, was using a paging system to alert Fire Marshals when there was a fire alarm activation. The SLS Safety Team were concerned because the paging system only worked within a limited range so if the Fire Marshals weren't within that range they wouldn't be informed of the alarm and wouldn't be able to assist in evacuation. The SLS Safety Team did some research and found that Fireco's Digital Messaging Service was the best option due to it's unlimited range.

Anchor Hanover Group improve access for residents
Anchor Hanover Group specialise in retirement and independent living houses. Due to the ageing demographic, residents were struggling with the heavy self-closing fire doors. The Estate Manager liaised with some of her colleagues who also had the same problem and they recommended Fireco's Freedor SmartSound.

Housing 21 site, Granville Court, found that elderly and disabled residents were struggling with the heavy fire doors around the building. The Housing Manager knew she needed to address the problem in order to avoid door wedging. She contacted the Company Surveyor who recommended using Fireco's Freedor SmartSound.
