UTC Fire & Security UK Ltd. has extended its popular Advisor™ Advanced intrusion systems line with the launch of three new control panels offering a range of high-end features. Later this year it will also include easy mobile connectivity through the UltraSync™ remote management mobile application. UTC Fire & Security UK Ltd. is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
The new ATS1500A, ATS3500A and ATS4500A control panels,
which will be featured at the IFSEC International security exhibition being
held in London, June 21-23, include features that improve commissioning and
remote servicing and allow for future system upgrades. For example, the intrusion
control panels come with the option to expand to cloud-based solutions. Compatible
with both the UltraSync IP platform and the ATS8600 security management system,
the new intrusion control panels offer users a wide range of options for remote
monitoring and site control. They are also compatible with the latest detectors
and intrusion devices.
The panels are ideal
for new installations ranging from 32 detectors up to 512, while for legacy
systems they allow users to upgrade but retain all their existing cabling and
detectors. In addition, a user-friendly installation wizard makes it easy to install
the settings for Grade 2 and Grade 3 systems.
“Upgrading to the latest Advisor Advanced
technology gives users the flexibility of using a mobile app to control their
system,” explains Ian Avey, Pre-Sales Engineer, UTC Fire & Security UK Ltd.
“Users can set and disable the system and perform a range of diagnostic and control
tasks using a tablet or phone.”
The new panels can be used with the latest
generation of intrusion devices, such as Aritech® wireless PIRcam
sensor, a flexible wireless security solution.
“The system accessibility allows system
designers and installers to improve the performance of legacy systems, or to
design new systems with the most advanced, high-security features and area
hierarchies,” added Avey.
The new Advisor Advanced panels are all
available in IP and non-IP formats. Full training and free support is provided
in the UK for all UTC Fire & Security products.
