GuardCam offers a green alternative

Following the astounding success of GuardCam , a product now seen as a market leader in the field of external security protection , ESP has launched the energy efficient GuardCam LED .

GuardCam LED retains all the features of its established stable mate whilst introducing to the product some very green credentials . GuardCam is a combined PIR /Floodlight / Camera / Recording system designed to provide a comprehensive yet relatively low cost solution in the protection of external spaces . Upon detection GuardCam will illuminate the area , commence a video recording directly to an internal SD card and optionally deliver a verbal warning .

ESP recognised the demand in some circumstances to minimise the effect on energy costs whilst still providing effective security lighting . GuardCam LED features an 8w led array with an equivalent light output to a 150W linear halogen . Even in trigger condition the units total power usage is no more than 11W. In addition to a huge saving on electricity bills on- going maintenance will be kept to a minimum , the expected life of the LEDs in average estimated usage could be over 40 years !
