D-Link’s latest product portfolio of end-to-end IP Surveillance solutions on show at IFSEC

20 Jun 2014

Showcases new Lowlight+ range, Super-fast–60fps, Multi-NVR Viewer and Edge of Network Recording

At this year’s IFSEC, D-Link will be showcasing four distinct areas of its IP Surveillance portfolio: Lowlight+, Multi-NVR Viewer, Super-fast– 60fps and Edge of Network Recording, to demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to providing its customers with the latest and best in IP Surveillance technology to protect their businesses or property.

Unlike conventional day/night cameras which switch to monochrome in darkness, D-Link’s Lowlight+ range maintains colour video in the dark and has excellent image quality, to enhance recognition and identification of subjects captured. One example of this popular range is the DCS-6315 Lowlight+ outdoor vandal resistant dome, which will be on view on the stand (#G500).

Super-fast - 60fps is a new technology that has emerged from professional video and broadcast equipment and has transformed surveillance footage. It doubles the number of frames available from traditional IP Surveillance cameras, which provides the vastly improved image quality of moving objects.

Also on show, is D-Link’s Auto Surveillance VLAN, a technology embedded into select D-Link switches that allows users to automatically add a VLAN to the network and enables quality of service (QOS). This allows them to create a hybrid network that is capable of handling both data and surveillance traffic; saving them the costs of deploying and maintaining a separate network for surveillance traffic only.

D-Link will be demonstrating Edge of Network Recording, which is where NVRs can be placed anywhere on the network, rather than in the traditional centralised location adopted by analogue systems. This provides significant benefits to the flexibility of surveillance design and security provision. Whilst saving money by not having to run additional cables back to a central location. Multiple NVRs can all be brought together from anywhere in the World utilising the free NVR software - NVR Pro. Multi-NVR viewer can support up to 128 channel monitoring on dual screens, bringing flexible and scalable solutions to small and medium scale surveillance projects.

Tony Lannon, European IP Surveillance Business Development Manager, D-Link, commented, “Over the past year we’ve continued to develop an increasingly sophisticated portfolio of IP Surveillance offerings to enable our channel partners to deliver the ultimate in professional quality, easy-to-install and use, and value for money end-to-end solutions. At this year’s IFSEC we’ll be showcasing solutions that the market demands to meet their security needs.”

D-Link will have its top cameras on show at the stand, including the DCS-6916 high speed PTZ Dome, the DCS-7513 full HD day/night outdoor dome and the DCS-5615 full HD indoor fixed PTZ. All of these cameras provide 1080p resolution.

D-Link will be at IFSEC from 17th – 19th June on stand G500.
